CHARACTER NAME: Hijikata Toshizou (Toshizou Hijikata, in Western order)
CHARACTER SERIES: Peacemaker Kurogane

Backtagging: YES, absolutely!
Threadhopping: YES, unless it's a pretty personal or intense sort of thread, in which case, ask and maybe.
Fourthwalling: YES, regarding being (based on) a real historical figure. It's also okay to know that there have been, like, a million pop culture representations of him, though I'd ask not to connect him specifically to the manga he's from.
Offensive subjects: GENERALLY YES, but, you know, be sensible about it. I will give a hard pass to anything involving animal abuse, though.

Hugging this character: YES, but he probably won't like it. Do it anyway, watch him get all grumpy!
Kissing this character: MAYBE NOT, unless you want to play out Souji going full Clingy Jealous Boy? If you want that kind of drama, though, I guess go for it.
Flirting with this character: YES. He may or may not flirt back, and probably won't actually be very interested because his affections are pretty gone forth, but you can feel free to do it at any point!
Fighting with this character: DO IT DO IT DO IT.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): YES for relatively minor things (bruises, minor cuts, etc.), so long as it's played out within the constraints of the usual etiquette for writing fight scenes without godmodding, and so long as it makes some certain amount of sense (bearing in mind that he's a rather strong fighter.) ASK for anything more serious, but again, if it makes sense in context, I'm up to at least discussing it.
Killing this character: ASK, but likely not, unless we've got something pretty big and interesting planned.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: DO IT DO IT DO IT. He's a big mess of survivor's guilt and good intentions and bad poetry, it'll be fun.He will not feel as positive about it, but, y'know, do it.
Warnings: Thoughts about backstory are likely to include reflections on: tuberculosis, suicide, lots of people getting stabbed with swords, torture, parental death as seen by a child, deaths of loved ones, and seriously so much survivor's guilt. Smokes all the time. If he's acting like an asshole, it's not because I'm trying to be edgy or because he's ~so cool~, sometimes he's just sort of blunt and unpleasant, especially when he's in a mood.
